Personal Statement
Goals. My goals are like a lot of kids growing up in America go to college, play a sport, get a high paying job out of college or go to the pros. What makes me different than other recruits is that I know where I fit in the world, in the class, and on the baseball field. I'm not the most vocal leader but I lead with my actions on and off the field whether it is continuing to play hard even though our team is losing by 10 runs in the 6th inning or winning by 10 in the last inning. I respect the other team and the players on the team no matter what. I love baseball and every kid that is still playing at my age loves it as much as I do if not more and I respect that player for it. Of course, the competitive nature in me takes over sometimes and I might chip back at the team, get pumped up and yell after a strikeout and to me, it just shows how much I love the game. I never lost my cool on the mound or during a game never talked back to the coach or yelled at the umpire for a bad call even though sometimes I wish I could. My head is screwed on correctly and that's 100% credit to my parents they taught me what's right and wrong and what to do and not to do in a situation on field or off the diamond. Thank you for reading this and thank you for looking at my profile and giving me a chance.
