Personal Statement

Since I was 4 years old I have had a ball and bat in my hand. It has always been my dream to play at the collegiate level and to work hard in hopes of playing at the professional level. I also want to attend college to pursue studies that will assist me with a career in the areas of Natural Resources, Conservation and Agriculture.

The game of baseball has taught me respect, patience, teamwork and sportsmanship. I feel these things make me a good teammate who is dedicated to my team and their goals. It has also taught me that things are not always going to go as planned but you have to keep moving forward which is true in sports and everyday life.

I realize that in order to play at the college level it requires hard work and dedication. I am willing to put in the work required to be the best I can be so that I am an asset to any team I may end up playing for.
