Sage Bolarinwa '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember I have had to fight for a spot on every team I have been on. I not only had to fight for a spot, but also fight for my place in the batting order.  Usually I start at the bottom of the batting order, moving up to lead off on almost every team I have been on. This experience has made me the kind of athlete I am, versatile, hard working, smart and fiercely competitive. I can play all outfield positions and middle infield at an elite level and also have the ability to switch hit. While I am very proud of my athletic ability, I think what sets me apart is my knowledge and love for the game.  I love baseball statistics and  analytics  and the impact they have in baseball. 

I am looking for a program that will believe in my athletic abilities and make me a better baseball player. I will love to be part of a program that is involved with the analytical part of the game  so I can continue that aspect of my baseball journey. I am  very lucky to be attending one of the best high schools in the country , I think this has prepared me to be an asset not only to any athletic program but also to any academic program
