William Smathers '19 Recruiting Profile

     Hello, my name is William Smathers and I am a rising Junior at Tuscola High School. I am a very hard worker
 on and off the field and I feel that I would be a great asset to any collegiate level baseball team. Baseball has always
 been my passion and I aspire to play at the collegiate level and Lord willing, possibly continuing long after that.

   Through years of hard work and dedication to the sport, and the direction of knowledgeable coaches, I feel that I am developing the skills necessary to play at the next level and I want to continue to grow and learn. I am taking every opportunity that I can to increase my knowledge and ability in the great game of baseball. I have attended a couple of local, well respected baseball camps and plan to attend collegiate level baseball camps throughout my high school career to take advantage of every opportunity that I can to learn more. My parents have taught me to push myself both on and off the field. I believe that school work and maintaining good grades plays a major role in my development as a student/athlete. All in all, I believe that I possess the talent, leadership skills, and work ethic to be a great asset to any college baseball team.
