Andrew has very good knowledge of the game and is very coachable. Defensively, he has excellent footwork, takes good angles to the ball and had nice glove work. Actions are athletic/smooth as he moves right to left through the ball and fires accurate/strong throws to 1B. Backhand play is easy as he works from the ground-up. Offensively, he tracks the ball into the hitting zone, showing good zone awareness. Swing path is short as he connects and finishes with extension. Once on base he is aggressive and works to get into scoring position. This athletic righty has skills and will make an impact on the diamond.

Andrew Feist is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Bismarck, ND who attends Bismarck HS. Short slender young build, has some strength for his size and age. 6.91 runner, quick actions defensively with good footwork through the ball, moves well laterally, solid balanced athletic actions defensively, plays with some flair, arm strength still developing. Right handed hitter, busy hand load, drifts into contact, swings hard and creates some bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, aggressive hitter. Nice all round player who should continue to improve as he matures physically. Very good student. PG GRADE 8.0 NAMED TO TOP PROSPECT TEAM

Feist continues to show a lot of improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has really improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.15 runner. Defensive grade has improved as well, now showing outstanding skills as he displays smooth / clean actions. He moves well laterally, displaying range in the MIF and attacks ground balls, playing through well with momentum to his target. Hands are soft / sure as he displays big play potential. Throws are accurate with carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, hitting / power grades are now solid as he displays an athletic setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off the bat when centered.

Andrew Feist is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-4 119 lb. frame from Bismarck, ND who attends Bismarck. Has a young frame with good athleticism. Displayed young fielding actions with a smoothness to his actions and has an accurate arm. Will add more velo as he continues to add more strength and mature. Has an open stance at the plate with a back load leg lift trigger and a patient approach. Has good swing mechanics, does a good job of going with the pitch, makes good contact and is a gap to gap hitter. Is an excellent student. PG GRADE 7.

Andrew is an athletic player who is coachable and willing to learn. In the field, he shows sure/soft hands with quick/active feet. His range is agile, working from right to left doing a great job playing through the ball.Andrew shows solid fundamentals. At the plate, Andrew has a very consistent swing with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. He shows a good lower half, level swing path and good bat speed for his age. Andrew is a great kid who plays hard and really it really shows that he loves the game.
