Personal Statement

One of my favorite things about baseball is seeing all my time and hard work pay off in making me the player I want to be. Watching my older brother pitch was a huge influence in guiding me in the same direction, and I am hoping to make my varsity debut on my high school team this year. Over the past few years while pitching, I have been hit by three lines drives, two of those to the head. Each time, I have had to dig down deep to find the courage to pick myself up and get back on the mound to continue doing what I love.

I am not certain on a major for college yet, but I am leaning towards Education. I am looking for a school that will meet my academic needs, but also includes a baseball program that will allow me to grow as a player and make a positive impact. I know I have the drive to be successful.
