Personal Statement
Playing baseball at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. Ever since I first picked up a bat and a glove, I dreamed of playing baseball at the next level.
I have a strong desire to play baseball throughout my college career. I would like to study Zoology and Animal Anatomy. After college, I would like to further my studies and become a Veterinarian and bring happiness to the things that make people happy, their pets.
I am different from the other recruits because I bring life to a team. I am always upbeat and excited to play. I am a leader on both of my teams (A-C and Post 134). I always hold my head high. I am a good teammate in the fact that I cheer on my guys when good plays are made and also when things aren't going so well. I am a very hardworking player on and off the field. I am a coachable athlete. I respect my coaches and listen to all suggestions they have about changes I may need to make in my mechanics.
I am constantly trying to improve my academics. At Amanda-Cleacreek High School, I take part in a Mentorship Program where I work with a younger student two days a week. I help them with school work and serve as a positive role model for them. I take part in youth baseball camps that are offered in the A-C School District. I am also an umpire for our community baseball and softball leagues.
Finally but most important, I am a Christian. I participate in my Church's Youth Group. I try to live a positive life and strive hard to make anyone and everyone around me a better person.
