Personal Statement
Playing baseball was a big part of my childhood. I have played on many teams: Junior sports, school teams and travel teams. Those experiences helped me develop my skills, make a lot of friends and push myself to be the best I can be. I have also taken lessons for years to sharpen my fielding, batting and pitching techniques. I play middle infield, pitch and can run a 6.71 second 60 yard dash that can be a key asset in the outfield. It is my hope to play and be an asset to a baseball team on the collegiate level.
My competitive nature is not strictly for the ball field. I am a 4.0 student in the classroom taking college preparatory coursework and ranked amongst the top in my class. I have achieved a 28 on my ACT. Some of my accomplishments so far include:
-8 year member of 4H
-National Honor Society member
-Student Council member
-4 year Varsity Football letterman
-All-State 2nd Team 2018 & 2019
-3 year Varsity Baseball letterman
-2018 Rookie of the Year Legion Post 159 Baseball
