Jared Szekely '18 Recruiting Profile

I am an enthusiastic player who is passionate about the game and strives to bring the best that I have to the field every day.  I would love the privelege to play on a college baseball team and have a lot to add to the game.    It is important to me to encourage my teammates to be the best that they can be and strive for greatness not only in baseball, but in life!

Baseball has been my passion since I could throw a ball and hold a bat.  My goal in college is to earn a degree that will allow me to have a successful career in engineering and/or physics, while continuing to play baseball at the collegiate level.  I love the competitive nature of baseball and enjoy the comradery of playing with a team.  I have transitioned to a 3rd baseman this last year with a .380 batting average that earned me an Honorable Mention Award in our region.
