Baseball, which I have the utmost respect and passion for, is more than a game for me. It is an activity that helps bring discipline, focus, and mental toughness into every aspect of my life. I felt a connection with Mr. Cal Ripken, Jr. when I read his book "Get in the Game" because he referenced these same values and principles that made him not only the greatest player, but also the person we all admire. I believe I possess great discipline and work ethic on and off the field. Each and everyday, I strive to be the best person with high character by giving back to the community. This is coupled with my desire to be the best baseball player by outworking everybody and paying attention to small details. This leads to my mental and physical toughness. In summary, I have a deep respect and passion to play baseball everyday and a desire to leave an immense impact both on and off the field.
