Personal Statement
Since the first day that I picked up a glove and a bat, baseball has had me hooked. The combination of physical skill and mental toughness required to succeed at a “game of failure” has taught me a strong work ethic and has given me a maturity level beyond my years. I carry this work ethic into the classroom as well. In baseball and in school, I am always looking for new ways to push and challenge myself.
My goal is to find a school where I can pursue my passions both academically and athletically. Both on the field and in the classroom my competitive nature has driven me to outwork others. I have not always been the most intelligent in a class or the most talented on a team, but I am always able to compete with the best because of my work ethic and problem solving abilities.
