Jake Johnson '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Johnson.  I am an outfielder.  I played 2 seasons of JUCO at Lorain County CC. I have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining.  I am currently looking for a school in the spring. My main goal is to help win ball games in any way that I can.   My other goal every time I go up to the plate is to put the ball in play and to be patient and take my walks.  Putting the ball in play and being patient gives us the chance to score runs and win ball games. I will always give 110% everyday no matter if it's on the field, weight room, classroom, or in the community.  I will show up early and get in early work and stay after practices and ask questions if needed.  I want to win ball games and improve personally.

My main advantage that I have over a lot of other people is my size.  I'm 6'4" and I feel like I have a lot of potential in my bat and a lot more room to grow and project to be better in the next 2-3 seasons.  I just need a school that believes in my abilities to give me a chance.
