Personal Statement
My name is Reid Tinstman and I attend Eaton High School in Eaton, Ohio. I have been playing baseball since I was 6 years old. Baseball has became one of the most important things in my life and I aspire to play at a collegiate level. I will bring my hard work and passion for the game of baseball everyday.
I also carry my hard work and passion into the classroom where I have a 3.94 GPA. I am currently in an advanced math class, having earned a high school credit while in middle school. Both my parents are teachers and they help me understand the value of grades and classroom performance.
I am a good addition to your team because of my competitive edge and determination. I work hard everyday to improve my baseball skills, my mental toughness, my academics, and my muscular strength. If there is someone who is trying to outwork me then I will work extra hard. I am very determined to do well in practices, games and in school. I strive to be a leader on and off the field. I am a very coachable athlete and if I have any questions about anything then I will always ask. I will always try to keep my teammates up and heads in the game.
I am different from other recruits because of my competitive edge to be better than my opponents. I also know what it takes to be a successful student athlete and I know how to balance my school work, extra curricular activities, sports, and my family activities.
I hope to further my baseball career in college and my education of Sports Medicine
Thank you for your time!
Reid Tinstman
