Halen Hartley '14 Recruiting Profile

I played travel baseball ever since I was 9, up until I was 12. Went to many tourneys from Illinois, Indiana, and Cincinnati. I made the Varsity team fro baseball my freshman year in high school, and took the seniors starter spot at 3rd base. Before I graduated from high school, I got singed to a professional independent baseball team. How ever, I didn't get paid because the team folded one week into the season. We only played 3 games and coach put the older guys in for those games so I didn't play not did I get paid, so I'm still eligible to play college baseball. About 2 months after that I got a call from the Baltimore Oriels Head scout. He invited me down to the Baltimore Oriels invite only tryout camp in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
