September 2015Personal Statement
My name is Nick Silvis. I've always been very passionate about baseball. Although I'm having a great time playing baseball in high school, I'm looking forward to playing in college. The following are reasons why I'd be a great candidate to play in the college level:
Baseball comes easy to me because I enjoy it and practice hard. I stay in shape by working out and conditioning all year; I always give 100% in practices and games. I have always been a team player by encouraging my teammates. Also, I have always respected and interacted well with my coaches.
I'm very knowledgeable of the game and I have the ability to rise to new challenges. When I'm playing, I'm able to perform under pressure. I'm always very alert and focused.
I perform very well in school and I always take responsibility for my actions.
