Personal Statement
I am a 6'1", 180 lb. left-handed pitcher / center-fielder that also bats from the left side. I am currently a junior at Little Miami High School (class of 2022) located in Morrow, Ohio. I have been playing baseball on a competitive level since I was eight years old. My first year of high school baseball I hit at a .500 batting average, .571 on-base percentage, and .667 slugging percentage. My freshman season at Little Miami I was awarded the team MVP as well as Academic Excellence Achievement Honors. My summer season playing club baseball for Midland in Cincinnati I hit at a .475 batting average, .566 on-base percentage and .607 slugging percentage. I currently play for Cary Daniel and the CBC Blackhawks 2022 team during the summer season. I am very excited for this opportunity to take my game to the next level with this program and play against the nation's top level talent. I have loved the game of baseball ever since I can remember. I have since narrowed my positions to pitching and center-field, but I will play anywhere in the best interest of the team. I just love being on the field and being a part of a team.
I am mostly interested in schools east of the Mississippi. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the diamond. I also would like to land at a college that focuses on the success of the students and has a respectable graduation rate as well as high percentage of future employment. Ideally, I would like to be at a program where I could contribute to the team in any aspect and have an early impact on the field as well.
