Personal Statement
I love working hard, doing what is right and enjoy playing the game I know and relying on what the coaches and my practice have taught me. What separates me from others is I am very coachable and always want to get better whether it is in the classroom, on the diamond or just in my daily life. My lifetime goal is to be a college baseball player and I am willing to work my tail off to be one!
I am a three sport athlete, I will be a four-year letterman in football and baseball as well as a two-year letterman in basketball. Upon graduation, I will have earned 10 varsity letters. I will be the most decorated athlete in the class.
Personally, the greatest skill I have obtained while playing sports is how to be a leader and step into the role when necessary. Leadership is earned not given. My leadership begins with not only my respect of the players next to me, but the players I face as well. Secondly, I respect each sport in every game I play in. I have applied the wisdom from every coach that I have had the privilege of playing for since the age of 8. I am an active listener, I am patient with my teammates, I am always a positive uplifting supporter of my teammates and I leave it all on the field.
I have been accepted into a college level marketing program for my senior year. The students will attend the program for half of every school day and will earn 12 college credits upon completion. The program is set up for students to collectively run a fully functioning business.
