2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Baseball has been the love of my life ever since I can remember, and I look forward to having it with me as I make my journey through both academics and athletics. However, I did not fall in love without the help of my parents and family, who have allowed me to become who I am today and shape my future. Through the game that they have shown me, I have learned about my ability to show leadership by staying positive and motivational, along with my ability to stay focused when it counts. I want a college that fits my goals of placing athletics on the highest tier, along with academics. It hasn’t always been easy for me, especially after my 10u season ended and my team disbanded. I was blindsided, but I found a last-second tryout that ended up being a stepping stone to where I am today. I’m a leader, motivator, and a hard worker, a true combination.
