Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Camden Miller and I am a 2020 Outfielder. I take a lot of pride in both my academics and character. I carry a very high 3.5 GPA while taking all college classes and will most likely be top 10 in my class after this semester (I currently am 11th). As a person, I have a lot going on outside sports. I have helped the community a number of times such as raising 914 lbs of canned food for Cherry Street Mission Ministry. I also started a Charity Basketball and Volleyball game at my school that has raised around $15,000 for multiple different charities and causes, as of right now and it will most likely be $20,000 by the end of this year. I view myself as a very driven and hardworking person. I am never satisfied with where I currently am. My dreams and aspirations were always to play college baseball and I have had people doubt me all my life which is why I write "Prove Them Wrong" on my wrist tape for every game. Now as an athlete I am a 3 sport varsity athlete. I play baseball, soccer, and football. I have earned 1st team All-Conference in both baseball and soccer. For baseball, I am a base-hit batter and am fine with getting on base any way possible. As a top of the line-up batter, my goal is to always get on and steal my way into scoring position for my following batters. Defensively I love being able to steal hits from batters and make plays that no one thinks are possible to make. I have worked my entire high school career on being comfortable laying out for a ball and making the hard plays "routine".
