My name is Jackson Homage. I am 18 years old, a senior at South High School, in Willoughby, Ohio, graduating class of 2020. I have been playing travel baseball, at an elite level, competitively, for the last 9 years at shortstop. Most of the tournaments we've played these last few years have been at D1 college fields. I am a hard worker on and off the field. Always diving and sliding, love getting dirty. Great hands and footwork defensively. An accurate, strong arm, throwing 85 mph across the diamond. At the catcher position, outstanding defensive catcher, very athletic, with a strong and accurate arm, with a pop time between 1.97 - 2.05 consistently. In 2017, played all 27 games at shortstop. Sophomore year, 2018, varsity, starting shortstop, all 28 games. Junior year, 2019, 25 games as varsity , starting shortstop and Honorable Mention All Conference team. Very coachable and a true team player.
I have been working at my part time job for over 2 years. My employer trusts me with many responsibilities and considers me a reliable, loyal, punctual, very hard working employee. He has been impressed with both my work ethic and my ability to work within a team. I also volunteer at my school, cleaning up after bingo and have worked very hard along with other team members and my coaches to maintain our high school baseball field. I am considering a major in business . I would love to own my own business after graduating from college.
I would be so happy to hear from your coaching staff and have the opportunity to tour your campus and show you my skill set. I want to work hard at both playing baseball and earning my degree to prepare me for everything ahead in life.
