Micheal Burkhart '24 Recruiting Profile

Since middle school I have wanted to attend a college or university that not only betters me academically and athletically, but as a person too. I am just as determined further my education as I am my athletic career as well. I have always believed that my work ethic on the playing field has made me the student I am in the classroom. I know how to set goals and work hard to complete them in both areas. Time management and making the most of opportunities given have gotten me in the position I am today, looking for a place to continue learning and playing.  Sports and school have both been big places for me to grow socially, meet new people, extend my comfort zone and enjoy being part of a team. 

I plan to major in a sports medicine or relative field of study. I enjoy helping people, giving back to my community and of course, love sports. I am looking for a college or university that can make me feel like I have a sense of worth and belonging, but challenge me to become a better man as well. I am well rounded and am looking to grow in faith and family as well as an athlete too. I would also like to attend a school that I can be active in community involvement both on and off campus. 

I feel that with my commitment to myself as a person and athlete I can be a great asset to not only my team but to campus and community as well.
