Personal Statement
My sophomore season we had 15 seniors on our varsity team and I was the only sophomore. I threw 46.2 innings with 41 strikeouts with a 3.1ERA and a 8-4 record with 1 save. My highlight games of that season was throwing a 7 inning shutout my very first start against Ardmore. Throwing 3.2 innings against Western Heights retiring every batter I faced with 9 strikeouts and 2groundouts.
My junior season we were a very young and inexperianced team. I was one of two varsity players returning that season replacing 8 starters. I was the ace throwing 73.2 innings my ERA wasn’t accurately given as they recorded alot of errors as hits and runs. In my 73.2 innings I had 81 strikeouts. My best pitching games was against Del City 2-1 win I threw all 7 innings with 7 strikeouts and we played them again in a tournament and we won 11-1 I threw all 6 innings with 7 strikeouts. We hosted OKC Santa Fe and I recorded 12 strikeouts in 7 innings and got the No Decision. In the Regionals elimination game against Guymon. Guymon beat us 8-0 earlier in the season so I told my senior teammates “I’m going to throw a gem so I can get you one more game” we run ruled them I ended up throwing 5 innings with 11 strikeouts and we won 11-1 I gave up 2 hits.
