I am a 6 foot 190 pound catcher, and a 2015 graduate from Duncan High School in Duncan, Oklahoma. I am a four year starter for the varsity baseball team. I am a very solid defensive catcher with excellent arm strength. My pop time is consistently a 1.85 or below. I am a balanced hitter who hits for a high average, but also has the strength and bat speed to hit for power. I was selected to the Oklahoma Junior Sunbelt All-Star team last summer, and I will be playing for the Oklahoma Ambassadors this summer. I am an athletic kid and I am the starting quarterback for my High School varsity football team. I was voted All-District Quarterback for the 2014 season.
In addition to being a committed baseball player, I also take my academics very seriously. I have a 4.0 non weighted GPA and a 28 on the ACT. I have also taken college credit classes. I am a part of the National Honor Society and Student Council at my high school.
I am looking for a school where I fit in well with my baseball skill set and academic ability. I am a very hard worker and will continue my work ethic through college as I try to make the biggest impact I can on the baseball team while pursuing my degree. I am committed to doing whatever I can to help the team and be the best teammate I can be, but I also want to continue playing catcher in college. I have grown to love the position, and I embrace the leadership role that comes with it.
