Personal Statement
During my first two years of high school, I struggled to figure out my swing. However, in my junior year, I improved exponentially and worked my way to start on the varsity team. The most memorable game during my junior season was the state semi-finals. Even though we lost, I went 3-4 and ended up leading my team in batting average over the whole postseason.
Playing college baseball has been a goal of mine ever since I was in tee ball. Along with my desire for the game, I perform well in the classroom. I have a 3.9 GPA and a 29 on the ACT. I am also a member of National Honor Society at my school. My character is what sets me apart from many of my teammates and peers. I am always willing to put in extra work if it means that I can succeed.
