My desire to play baseball after high school is a goal that I have worked on pretty much from the beginning of my playing the game. I have played Varsity baseball from my freshmen year through the present, where I won the starting position at shortstop. My travel club is the Dallas Tigers of Oklahoma where I play short and pitch. My hitting coach is Bill Springman, who I respect very much and appreciate the effort he has put into me and my abilities. Regent is my high school, which is a college prep school. I have a strong 3.4 GPA in a very difficult academic environment. Outside of baseball, I am a Christian and exercise my faith helping others who are less fortunate than I am. My greatest experiences have been camp and mission trips. My father is the student pastor at our local church, so I have been to camp since I was little. The mission experiences are serving in Little Rock, AR at the Florence Crittenton Home, which is an emergency shelter for kids who are taken out of their homes due to tragic circumstances, and Project Liberty in Maputo, Mozambique. My family and I have traveled to Mozambique 3 times to visit the orphans in the home that we support and pour our love on them. I feel like this has been my greatest achievement. I love baseball, but serving those orphans has affected my life in a much deeper and fulfilling way. I look forward to any opportunity to visit with you about my future and the game I love.
