Greetings College Coaches, my name is Dimitri Shinas and baseball is truly my passion. I have been very passionate about the sport since I was young and I knew it was something I definitely wanted to play at the collegiate and MLB level.
I have a tremendous work ethic; I set goals and work relentlessly to achieve these goals. When these goals have been achieved, new ones are set and I work relentlessly to achieve these goals. Nothing has been given to me in baseball; I have always had to prove myself and work for my positions. I have been successful in attaining these positions each and every time. I am a very coachable athlete as I am always accepting of advice and constructive criticism. I am always trying to improve my game and I am very open to other's suggestions. My tremendous work ethic and coachability also transfer into the classroom. Academics are something that I find very important and I always work hard to maintain and increase my GPA. I am a great student in the classroom as I put 110% dedication and commitment in everything I do.
“Dreams plus action equals reality” is a motto that I go by. My dreams have been set and now, through action, I know my dreams will come true.
