May 2021Personal Statement
Hard working and motivated is how I would describe myself. Baseball has and will be a part of my life for a long time and I am excited to see where this great game takes me. I am the quarterback on my high school football team and that has helped me step up into a leadership role these last couple years.
I am ridiculously competitive and respect the game and will constantly figure out what I did wrong in each game and work hard the next week to perfect my craft so when the next moment comes I’m ready.
I was a catcher for a long time but after growing 4 inches over a summer I got diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter’s disease and my knees couldn’t handle it anymore. I have fallen in love with pitching but also love to hit so I also put work in at 1st and 3rd base.
I love the game of baseball and am excited to play at the next level wherever that is.
