Andrew Ciarlone '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Ciarlone from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Since I started playing baseball, my goal has been to play at the collegiate level. I currently attend LaSalle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, where I am in my junior year. I played my first year of high school baseball on the freshman team and was awarded Offensive Player of the Year. As a sophomore, I played for the JV team as a starter batting at the top of the batting order and had another great season. My goal is to start on our Varsity 2012 and 2014 State Championship team next year and play in the Carpenter Cup.
My travel baseball experience started when I was 13 years old playing for All Star Baseball Academy where I played for 2 years. I then won a spot on a highly competitive Chandler Baseball team.  I am currently playing for Mike Manning and the All Star Baseball Academy Showcase Team out of West Chester, Pennsylvania.
I have been fortunate to have had many game winning hits and championship pitching outings. I believe the reason I can always come through when my team needs me most is because of my work ethic. I take advantage of the opportunities and facilities that I have available to make myself better; I will not be out worked. I also pride myself in the fact that I am a team player first and put wins above personal stats.
I believe I am a player that any coach would like in their program. I have a strong work ethic and an intense mental approach to the game. I am a fierce competitor on the field as well as a versatile player.  I feel that I would be an asset to any program.
