I am a 6'1 175 lb. Senior from Altoona Area High School (6A) in Altoona, PA that will graduate high school in 2020. I have a 94.8% GPA and I have never had a final grade lower than 90%. Also, I have received Perfect Attendance Awards in 7th and 9th grade and missed only one day of school in 8th and 11th grade.
Baseball has taught me the importance of working as a team, but also improving individually to make a team stronger. It has also taught me patience and showed me that I need to work to achieve my goals and that I must earn my spot on the team. As a 9th grader, I tried out for the JV/Varsity baseball team and was the last player cut. While some players would have possibly been dejected, I used this to motivate me to work harder and improve my skills. This season, I made the Varsity team and I will play 1st base and pitch.
