Personal Statement

My name is David Kessler I am a Junior, Class of 2022, at Bethel Park High School just South of Pittsburgh Pa. Academically I have a 4.22 weighed GPA with my strong points in Mathematics. My goal for college is to continue down that path towards a technical degree such as engineering. My dream is to play baseball in college.

I started playing baseball at 4 years and it has been my passion ever since. I have played travel/ AAU baseball since I was 7. I know that I can always get better/stronger and will continue to make it a priority.

I play on a competitive AAU team the Pittsburgh Outlaws and am consistently one of the top hitters on that team as well as this year playing for a College League in Youngstown Ohio called Creekside Baseball. I played on the PBR PA State Future Games Team this summer August 2-4 in DuBois Pa. I am ranked 7 as a SS and overall 48 in the state of PA.  I was named one of the top 3 Prospects from the Western Pa College Prospect Showcase that took place July 23, 2019 at Pullman Park in Butler. My freshman year I started and lettered for the Varsity Bethel Park Baseball team and broke the no hitter in WPIAL playoffs against North Allegheny High School.

When I’m not playing baseball, I like to play spike ball, volleyball, basketball and video games with my friends, take care of my dog Jet, work a few days a week at Kessler Electric and listen to music.

I am leader, hard worker, honest and dedicated to all that I do. I never give up, I push forward in the good and bad and always keep smiling.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
