I have been playing baseball since I was 18 months old. My mother has a picture of me in a diaper, with my glove on in a full wind up playing in the backyard with my dad. For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of playing baseball at the collegiate level. Each and every day I work hard in the classroom, weight room, and on the field, in belief it will get me closer to my goal of playing in college. Throughout my childhood my parents have been a huge part in the making of who I am today. My parents always supported me in everything I did. They gave me all the help they could and instilled in me the core value of hard work breeds success. I believe my passion for baseball has led to my inner-drive to continually push myself to work harder and to not fear little failures. I believe the hard work will pay off and I believe I learn from failure and it helps me to be stronger as a young man and a baseball player. My Sophomore season of varsity baseball is really what shaped me for my athletic and academic career.
I have always played in a great little league program and got to experience went to states twice but last year as a sophomore it changed my whole mentality and perspective of the game. After getting to catch against a few big D1 athletes and a 2022 MLB first round draft pick, while also getting to catch a Penn State commit throwing 96 was something surreal. As a sophomore it was something I will never forget the experience of playing in the Mid-Penn Finals, District Finals and States and gave me a glimpse of what I want more of. Last year made me into a totally different baseball player and opened my eyes to a totally different world of baseball that you do not get to see on the daily. My moms career as an OR nurse for 13 years always fascinated and intrigued me. Thinking about heading into college also means graduating high school and thats a big part of everyones lives. I would love to come out of high school with a 3.8 GPA and go study pre-med in hopes to one day go into the medical field. I realize that NCSA is a site focused on athletics, for me its baseball, but I want to ultimately find a school that I would be happy attending for my education without baseball. Anything can happen and if for any reason I would no longer be able to play the game I love, I would want to be happy and content at the school that I'm attending to achieve my degree. My goal is to find a program to further advance my academics and to find a coach that can help me progress in the game I love.
