Personal Statement
I live on a farm in south-central pennsylvania. I have played baseball since I was very young and have developed an intense passion for the game. I have spent innumerable hours practicing to make myself the best I can be. I have always been a hard worker and I want to use that work ethic to play at the next level. Playing baseball in college has always been a dream of mine and I endeavor to play at the highest level that I can. I wish to go to a school where I can, not only play, but improve my game and that of those around me. I wish to make an impact wherever I go, and to have a positive influence on all around me.
Beside baseball my interests lie in mathematics, literature, and history. Since there is no television in my house, I read constantlly and have developed an intense love of good books. I also love to learn all that I can, about everything that I can. Even though it is summer, I am still taking online math courses through Stanford, and taking my education farther than that which my high school can provide. To achieve the highest standard in sports, education, and life in general is my goal and dream.
