Matthew Feits '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matthew Hunter Feits I am currently a freshman at Freedom Area High School, located in Western Pennsylvania. I'm 15 years old and very tall for my age ( 6 foot 4) and weigh 180 pounds. I pitch and play first base for my AAU team. I am a very reliable pitcher, I led my team in innings pitched and strike outs, my fastball was clocked at 80mph. Over the 2010 season I pitched a total of 90 innings and struck out 134. My coach always had me pitch when the game was on the line and in championship games. This coming spring will be my first season playing high school ball and I am expecting to pitch for Varsity. I was taught good Christian values by my parents and they taught me to always work my hardest. I have taken that into baseball, I train for 4 months throwing weighted balls and conditioning, with minor league instructors. From working so hard at that program, I gained 8 miles per hour on my fastball. I have been told by coaches that I have a great work ethic, and while running sprints I always try to be the first one to finish. There is nothing I want to do more than play college baseball. My whole life revolves around baseball and I truly plan on playing it throughout college. I am only a freshman so I really do not have any college preferences as of now. I have not decided what I would like to major in, but I take interest in Business.
