Personal Statement
My name is Hudson Morris. I am a sophomore at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I will be graduating in 2023. I am a left-handed pitcher and a right-handed batter.
My goal is to attend a competitive baseball college to be a pitcher. I currently also play first base and right field.
During this past season we were hit hard by Covid 19 like many other areas. I was unable to play my first year of High School Baseball. I am projected to be on the Varsity Bishop McDevitt Baseball team and I also play showcase baseball for Baseball U. Maryland.
During the down time, due to Covid 19, it didn’t stop me from getting better. I began hitting the weight room and went from topping 79 to sitting 80 touching 82-83. My goal is to keep getting better and stronger by taking advantage of the weight room and clinics and pushing myself to be sitting at 86 and topping high 80s by the end of the season.
For me I try every day of my life to be better not only as an athlete but a better version of myself.
