Hello my name is Eric Peters. I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old and it's been my passion ever since. I started playing travel ball when I was eight years old, which is when I started to take baseball seriously. As I have gotten older, I know that I want to play baseball at the collegiate level.
There is just one small problem: I've been considered small for my entire life. I've always been the shortest player on any team I've ever played on, from school ball to travel ball. My size, or lack thereof, hasn't discouraged me, rather it's only made me work harder. For the past six years, I've been taking lessons and going to training to get better, making my skill speak louder than my size.
I think of myself as a very coachable kid, a student of the game, and a leader. Even though I'm the smallest player on the team, I'm not unnoticed. I'm very vocal and I always try helping my teammates by setting a good example.
