David Kilroy '20 Recruiting Profile

After playing three sports in high school, the game of baseball is my main interest. At 6’3 ½” and 220 pounds, sports has taught me how to deal with success and failure and usually it is not in that order. It is through playing sports that I have become a better player, a positive leader, more committed and better focused. I have also developed a strong work ethic and skill mentality.

In the past years, I have had the opportunity to compete at different levels making it more difficult to achieve a goal. “Playing up,” prepared me as a player earlier in my development. The opportunity to play with older teammates enabled me to improve in areas such as: speed, maturity, confidence, and improving my decision-making on the baseball field.

My life goals include pursuing a college or university with an exceptional academic reputation in the field of computers or construction management. Plus, I would like to be in a college sports program where I would make a sizable contribution to play at the highest competitive level possible. Thank you and I welcome the challenge.
