Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since the t-ball days in my hometown of Bridesburg in Philadelphia, PA. Although many kids in my area do not go to big colleges, my goal is to play at the Division I level. I am a hard worker and have a great work ethic in the gym, on the field, and especially in the classroom. My studies are my number one priority, I spend just about all of my free time off from baseball studying and doing homework. On the field, my speed and glove in center field make me stand out and they are what I take pride in. Whenever I am on the bases, I feel like I cannot get thrown out and when the ball comes my way in center, it is an automatic out. I am pretty reserved in the dugout. I am not always yelling or getting hyper with my teammates, but I have my moments where I do. Even though I am reserved, I make it known to my coaches and teammates I appreciate them and always have their back. I love picking up my teammates by getting a hit after they strike out or just simply boosting their confidence. Overall, with my grades, skills, and work ethic, I hope to stand out to a Division II or III college.
