Lane Kendall '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lane Kendall, I am a junior at Forbes Road High School. I am a very athletic and academically focused student. I am the starting catcher for the Forbes Road Cardinals varsity baseball team. I have always dreamed of playing college baseball and will do anything to achieve my goal of one day playing at the college level. I am a good candidate for any team because I have a great understanding for the situations throughout the course of the game, even when my team is down I am always trying to motivate them in anyway I can. I am different from other recruits because, in character I have a sense of humor but I also understand when to be serious and get things accomplished. In athletics, I am a very active person so if I set a goal in a certain sport or training exercise, I will do everything it takes to accomplish my goals. In academics I am different because I understand that academics come first before any sports so I work extra hard in the classroom so I know that I do not have to worry about grades being an obstacle in my way of playing the game I love..... Baseball.
