I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. Not only do I love the sport, I also love being part of a team and the friendships I have made. I am a dedicated athlete and student. My thought process is, if I can put effort into a sport, I feel as if I can put that same or more effort into my schoolwork. My goal is to continue playing baseball in college while pursuing my degree. I feel the support system provided by my coaches and teammates will help navigate me thru my college experiences. If you asked them, my teachers, coaches and peers would describe me as fun to be around, respectful and focused.
One of my biggest accomplishments on the field would be when I was 15 years old and hit my first homerun during a tournament on the Penn State Mont Alto baseball field. But I also value my accomplishments in the classroom. One thing that I work hard for is to be on the honor roll, I have made it 3 times so far. In a college program I’m looking for it to be on the east coast, have majors that fit my likings, but overall, I just want to feel the most comfortable there. I’ve loved the game of baseball for as long as I remember, but the moment I fell in love with it was when I realized that no matter what the situation was, baseball would always be there for me. It’s the one thing that won’t leave your side.
