Zachariah Blackwell '25 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has made me into who I am now. Since I started playing at the age of six, it has developed me and has given me many valuable qualities that would make me a solid addition to your team. First off, it has given me the self-discipline to train and become a better player on my own. Throughout the years, I have discovered my passion for the game is a lot more of a burning one than previously thought. Not only would I bring that passion and my skills to the table, I am a great teammate and a very coachable player. I am a 5’5 145 pound shortstop and I believe I would bring a great mentality, leadership, and toughness to your team. 

I didn't start playing travel ball until I was twelve, which was about the time I discovered that the game was truly meant for me. Ever since then, I have been focused on becoming the very best version of myself that I can be, as well as the best teammate I can be. In high school, I maintained a 5.2 GPA in my freshman year. Although I failed to make the team during my freshman year but that hasn’t stopped me from reaching my goal. 

I am open to any kind of school that has great engineering program. Right now, my goal is to get to the next level. I am looking forward to finding a school that fits me, gives me the full college experience, and gives me the chance of fulfilling my dream of playing baseball at the college level.
