Raul Centeno '11 Recruiting Profile

I am Raul Centeno Blanco, Puertorican and a senior at the PR Baseball Academy. I am a catcher and 1st. base with 5'11 height and weight of 190. I've started to play baseball at the Pampers League when I was 4 yrs. old, my best throwing time to 1st base are: 2.00,1.97,1.91 , I made the 60 yds in 7.20. Although difficult to talk about yoourself, I identify myself with lots of baseball sense, great throwing ability with a strong and steady arm, and with above average batting ability. I live with my mother who has my full custody. Besides a real passion and love for the game I am also a good and responsible student. I' d like to pursue either a BA in Education or Computer Technology. My current GPA is 3.47 and I will be taking both the College Board and the SAT in a few weeks. Although I recognize that I have started this process a bit late, I am so interested in having the opportunity to pursue my goal of combining an education with my love for baseball and working hard to improve my athletic formation. To accomplish that, I know I need to continue developing further both my education and baseball fundamentals. That is why I need an opportunity to demonstrate that with my strong will I can make it. Need to recognize that Spanish is my native language, but I do understand and can maintain a basic English dialogue. I will need financial assistant and are open to any opportunity that can help me move closer to my goal.
