I am a person that’s motivated by challenges. My family and friends have made me who I am today. The environment I have grown up in has taught me to be mentally tough and confident. I have learned to never give up on something you truly love. Life has taught me to keep fighting through obstacles that stand in my way. My best friend introduced me to baseball when I was just a child and he taught me the basics of the game. My love for baseball has progressed since then. I do not give up easily when I run into conflicts; which gives me a confidence on and off the field. Over the past couple of years I have developed a leadership role for my teams. I have steped up to do what is necessary to benefit them. Even though I used to be benched because I was seen as too short or weak, I always worked hard and put the team before me. My hard work and determination paid off and I helped my team win most of our tournaments. In all aspects, I strive to be the top student athlete I can be. I have enjoyed my school experience and I want to press on into college. I want to major in engineering especially areospace, and I want to play this game as long as I can.
