Seeing positive change gets me going in the morning.  Watching people succeed is like throwing more sticks in the fire for me.  It drives and motivates me to be a better player on the field and person off the field.  Growing up in and around the game of baseball influenced me over the years to get out there no matter the situation.  I learned that it’s not completely about the result at the end of the day, but the experience I gained.  I learned to be a leader, socialize with others, and to have fun.

In college, I aspire to reach my goals of attaining a degree and beginning the next chapter of my life as an entrepreneur.  I look forward to the responsibility of independence that comes from being a student athlete.  That experience will be important to building character that can last a lifetime.
