Personal Statement

My name is Gavin Miles and I am a Senior at Polk County High School. I am adding my profile and starting my search for a college that I can be a leader in both the classroom and on the baseball field.

My career goals after college, are to obtain a teaching degree so I will be able to coach baseball at the high school level.

I enjoy being versatile on the field, and have the ability to play any position. While in High School, I have been a Team Captain for three of my four years. In 2017 I won our teams Defensive Player of the year while playing Center Field, and was 2nd Team All District. In 2018, I again won our teams Defensive Player of the year award, this time in the Catching position. I also was First Team all District in 2018.
