Personal Statement

I am looking for a college program that will be a great fit for me. I work hard constantly. My goal is to give my team everything I got and to continue to grow. Teammates are family to me. In practice I am quiet, but not shy. I observe more than I speak most of the time.

In games I am confident and vocal directing teammates on the plays.

Over the past 2 years our team has made it to the state tournament. The first year losing in the first round. My Senior was cancelled because of COVID.

2/3/19 - 60: 7.78, C Velo: 72, Pop Time: 1.97-2.06, Exit Velo: 75 5-5, 150-pounder has shown improvement across the board since we last him in late 2017 and showed a want for receiving. Short, athletic frame w/ some lower half strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ an open, very slightly crouched stance w/ knee to knee leg kick and short hand load. Some stiffness in the load, learning not to lock out his arm consistently. Flashes ability to get upper and lower half in sync, helps him stay through the baseball. Learning to get lower half through the baseball, occasionally gets caught behind, leaving behind a couple ticks of exit velocity. Projectable gap power as frame matures. Defensively, presents a quality low target w/ glove rest where gloves turns over, can create some issues sticking the baseball. Shows ability to handle velocity. Agile with ability to move side-to-side and keep the ball in front. Intriguing receiver tools. As a thrower, shows solid footwork w/ quick release, short arm stroke and carry to target arm strength.
