Joshua Leek '24 Recruiting Profile

First, I thank God for the ability to play the game of baseball. Because without the blessing he has given me, I would not have achieved what little I have. Furthermore, I realize without applying myself in the classroom, my dream of playing the game I love at the next level will not be possible. So, I am proud to mention my current GPA as of March 2022 is 3.7. With that said, I will focus on being the best I can be off the field. Because even though I love the game of baseball, I realize finishing my education and representing myself, my family, and my school as an upstanding young man is truly what makes me successful.

As for the game of baseball, there is nothing outside of God and my family I love more. I know it will take me to make baseball not just an activity but a way of life to achieve the success I strive for. Therefore, I go to the cages 3-4 days a week in addition to regular practice to improve my game in all areas. I understand I haven’t been blessed with eye-popping talent, but no one will have the drive and heart I must become better each time I play the game. I feel I can play at any level or with any team, but at the same time, I will always have weaknesses and areas to improve in, so I will continue to work to change those weaknesses into strengths.

I would love to be recruited and play at the next level for a team with a coaching staff that will continue my growth first as a student and person. But of course, as a player and leader on the field. I can assure all coaches I will represent your school and program in an upstanding and positive way.
