Personal Statement
Baseball has been a huge part of my life ever since I was 3 years old. I have played on an assortment of teams allowing me to be exposed to some of the best competition in the nation. Having these experiences have helped me improve all of my baseball skills and grow individually as a person.
I started travel ball when I was 7 and have played on travel teams most of my life. I was on a team out of Knoxville, TN, and we were, at one point of our 13U season, the 6th best ranked team in the nation at a Major level. I wasn't the tallest player on any of my teams, but that still didn't stop me from being the best player I could be. Over the past 3 years, I have been doing Cross-fit and one-on-one baseball specific conditioning to help my endurance, strength and agility. This will be my senior year playing high school ball and throughout that time, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, 4.35 weighted.
I have many qualities that I can bring to any team. I am a team player and I get along well with my teammates and coaches. I follow directions well. I have a positive attitude and love to encourage others, especially younger players. My parents are both very hard workers so I know what it means to help someone out and to give it 110%.
I am looking for a school that can help me financially while also allowing me to have an opportunity to achieve a good education and fulfill my dream of playing collegiate level baseball.
