Nicholas Whitener '17 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a very small child, it has been a dream of mine to play baseball at the collegiate level. I love the game, and I am willing to do whatever I can to better myself on and off the field. I see myself as a blue-collar guy who will always be hungry to get better. Baseball is very important to me, but I realize I am a student first. I take academics very seriously. I always strive to reach as high as possible academically, as well as on the baseball field. I can not speak for myself of my character, but I am held in very high regard with my coaches and teammates. I bring teams together. I am respectful to everyone, whether it be my coaches, teachers, peers, or anyone else. In closing, it is on my mind every single day in the classroom and on the field to improve my skill set and reach the next level.
