Personal Statement
I LIVE to play baseball, not just want to play. The difference between the two is needing to play baseball is all you want to do, you will do anything to get better and do whatever it takes to get to the college level and beyond. Wanting to play is basically just playing for fun and being on a team.
Since I first stepped on the diamond, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing baseball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my whole life. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. In the classroom, I study hard and try to maintain a good GPA. I also volunteer at local youth baseball camps. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
