Personal Statement
When I was a kid being told I could not do something made me want to prove them wrong, and I did. I became interested in baseball before I can even remember, the game is just something I love and something I always want to be doing. By the end of my freshman year in high school I knew exactly that I wanted baseball to be the sport I focus 100% on. Playing baseball I have learned that I am willing to give it everything I have got to make sure I am the best player I can be. I grew up to people telling me all the time that I couldn't do it or I'd never be able to do it and I used that as fuel to make myself work harder everyday. I have also learned that I have good leadership skills by playing baseball because I am always encouraging my teammates to come hit or throw or do something that will help the team be better in the future. I would love to be part of your program and thank you for taking your time to read this.
